9.7 Bypass (option)

The bypass consists of duct components and
a bypass shutter. The bypass shutter can be
adjusted by hand.
In summer operation, cool outside air can be
fed past the heat exchanger and into the
supply air channel through the bypass
channel.
Not possible in combination with

the wall bracket.
 Remove the cover. Pull out the plugs. Do
not damage the seal.

 Locate the flat channel duct [2] onto the
angled piece [1].
 Locate the duct components with
integrated bypass shutter [3] onto the
ventilation unit supply air connectors.
Check that the seal is located correctly.
 Connect the upper angled piece [4] with flat
channel duct [2] and the duct components
with the integrated bypass shutter [3].
Check that the seal is located correctly.
 Completely insulate the bypass. Insulation
material with a thickness of 20 ... 30 mm
should be provided by the customer.
