A circular image with no vignetting
cannot be obtained.

Operating error
-The viewer's pupil is not at the exit
pupil of the eyepiece, i.e. not on the
axis and/or not at the correct distance.
- The position of the eyepiece cup
does not match that for correct use
with and without glasses.

Remedy/explanation
- Correct the position of the head, the
eye or the spotting scope.
- Correct the adjustment:
Wearers of glasses slide / rotate the
eyepiece cup in;
for use without glasses:
pull / rotate the eyepiece cup out.
