2 Applications

Via a single coaxial cable, this transmission system will
transmit video signals of two surveillance cameras,
information of two alarm sensors and will also supply
the cameras with power. With a cable of type RG 59,
a maximum cable length of 800 m will be possible.
The system is also ideally suited for retrofit with an
additional camera; in this case, it will not be necessary
to lay another cable in addition to the existing one.
1
To facilitate handling, the green screw terminals can be
disconnected from the unit.

3 Important Notes
The units (transmitter, receiver, power supply unit) cor-
respond to all required directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with
G
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
G
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
G
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the units are used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if they are not cor-
rectly installed or operated.
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which will not be harmful
to the environment.
4 Installation
1) For secure installation of the transmitter and/ or the
receiver, attach two of the mounting brackets pro-
vided (in the packet marked "Mounting Bracket 1 pc.")
respectively to the guide rail (6) until they lock into
place. Screw the units to a suitable place (4 screws
supplied).
2) Connect the transmitter and the receiver via a 75 Ω
coaxial cable:
connect the jack "LINK OUT with DC IN" (7) to
the jack "LINK IN with DC OUT" (11)
With a cable of type RG 59, a maximum cable
length of 800 m will be possible.
3) Connect the video outputs of the cameras to the
jacks VIDEO IN (1).
For power supply of the cameras, 12 V will be
available at the contacts DC OUT (2)
current consumption of the cameras must not
exceed 800 mA.
4) Connect alarm devices (e. g. door/ window con-
tacts, motion detectors) to the terminals ALARM IN

devices with NO contacts and NC contacts
combination of both),
contact types, insert a 1 kΩ resistor into each alarm
loop at the position R 1 (2 resistors are supplied)
and set the corresponding switch INPUT TYPE (4)
to the position TERM.
