Leg rest variant 1:
To operate the leg rest in your armchair, place your hands on the armrests
and push yourself backwards. While doing this, make sure that you straigh-
ten your legs so that there is no resistance against the leg rest. The action
and motion will be smooth as you get your feet into a horizontal position.

Make sure that no other persons, children, animals or the like are located
below the leg rest, before bringing the leg rest into starting position.
To return to the upright position again, push down with your feet against
the leg rest and lean forwards. Your leg rest will thus reach the original
position again.
Leg rest variant 2:
The leg rest can be operated by pulling the lever with your left hand and
pushing it forwards. During the whole process of adjustment the left hand
has to remain on the lever. Lift your legs to take weight off the leg rest.
WARNING: Risk of injury!

Make sure that no other persons, children, animals or the like are located
below the leg rest, before bringing the leg rest into starting position.
To bring the leg rest back to the starting position, lift your legs to take the
weight off the leg rest and pull the lever all the way back – the leg rest then
returns to the starting position. During the whole process of adjustment the
left hand has to remain on the lever.
On some models, the seat tilts down with extended leg rest.
Height Adjustment:
On your left side underneath the armrest you will see another lever. This
lever controls the height adjustment of the chair. Once you sit in the chair,
pull the lever upwards and the chair will lower in seat height. Release
the lever and the chair will halt. This means that you can adjust the seat
height at any position along the length of the mechanism (approximately
3 inches/8cm).
To increase the seat height, remove all weight from the seat and lift the
lever upwards. The gas spring will extend and the chair will return to its
highest position.
