7. Upgrading the TV set (to Twin/Single DVB - T2)
The description uses the TV set Individual 32 Selection Sound LED as
an example.
MOS components
Avoid damage from electrostatic charging.
Observe the rules for handling MOS components.
Procedure
Fig. 21 indicates the location for installing the module.
First remove the installed module support with existing module.
Remove tuner module together with module support and detach from module support (Fig. 22).
In the case of an upgrade, the existing module will be exchanged for the new module (Fig. 23).
Fasten the SAT module to the module support using the previously removed screws (Fig. 24).
Press the connector and new module into the contact strip (Fig. 25).
Ensure the connection fits correctly. This will provide a reliable electrical connection.
Fasten the new tuner module and module support as shown (Fig. 26).
To reassemble, follow the instructions on opening the TV set in reverse order.
Reattach the rear panel.
Fasten it with the previously removed screws from the rear side.
Reconnect the TV set to the external connecting leads and plug in the short connecting cable (if present) to the
TV set.
Attach the cable connection cover and perform a function and safety test in accordance with VDE 0701.
