9. Maintenance
The unit is maintenance-free.
10. Opening/closing the unit
Danger to life. Unit is powered
up.
 Switch off the mains fuse and
DANGER
wait for the impeller to stop!
 Do not flood the unit with
liquid.
 Loosen both clip-locks and remove the
housing cover.
 Remove the two fixing screws.
 Swing the fan unit out.
Danger of injury due to the fan
unit swinging out.
 Once you have removed the
WARNING
fixing screws, carefully and
slowly lower the fan unit.
 Choose a location (for a
ladder, for example) that is
outside the swing range.
 Clean the unit with a damp cloth. Suck dry
if necessary.
 Attach the housing cover and secure with
the two clip-locks.
11. Dismantling
Danger to life. Unit is powered
up.
 Switch the mains fuse off.

Dismantling should only be carried out

by a trained electrician.

12. Fault rectification

● Call on the services of a trained
electrician any time there is a fault.
● Repairs should only be carried out by a
trained electrician.

prevent it from accidentally
being started up again.

13. Disposal

The unit contains in part material that
can be recycled and in part
substances that should not end up as
domestic waste.
 Dispose of the unit once it has reached the
end of its working life according to the
regulations valid where you are.
Countermeasure
Check that the mains fuse
is switched on.
Before recommissioning,
switch the fan off long
enough for the motor and
temperature limiter to
cool. Then switch it back
on.
It can take up to 10 mi-
nutes to cool down
depending on the size
and temperature.
If the fault still continues,
call on the services of a
trained electrician
