Any changes in the unit settings are only realized after activating the SAVE –
Button.
After all changes have been made and the SAVE – Button has been pressed, the
hand-held unit automatically reestablishes radio contact with the POS system.
As long as no changes have been performed, the text, Exit, appears below the
symbol.

Changing the Menu Card

The changing process should only be carried out in a clean and dry environ-
ment.
Switch the unit off and remove the batteries.
To do this, slide the battery latch back; the battery pack is spring-released from
the unit and can be easily removed.
With the plastic nib of the supplied DON touch-pen, press down on the release
point. A simultaneous pushing motion in the direction of the cord-holder open-
ing (release direction) causes the menu-card clasp to be sufficiently released
that it can be grasped by the hand.
