Proper Handling
3.1
Caution
The ORDERMAN

The use of pens, pencils or any other pointed object can cause damage

to the touch-surface.
Never expose the unit to extreme weather conditions such as, for exam-

ple, rain, hail, snowfall or extreme sunlight.
If damage should occur, the unit must be inspected by Customer Service

for possible defects.
Do not short circuit the charging contacts or the battery contacts under

any circumstances.
The battery must never be exposed to an open fire
•
– Risk of explosion!
A strong mechanical stress, such as, for example, twisting or falling from
•
excessive heights onto sharp objects, can cause damage to the unit.

Opening the housing ruins the unit.
For making out menu cards, use the touch-foil specified by think dig ex-

clusively.
3.2 Care
Tip
To clean the surface of the unit, use a soft cloth dampened with a weak
•
solution of a mild detergent and water.
Do not use compressed air to clean the unit or its accessories.
•
Never use benzene, paint thinner or other volatile material to clean the
•
unit or compressed air to remove dust.
Take care not to scratch any part of the touch-surface.
•
Take care that the charging contacts and the terminals for the power-
•
connection unit are not soiled. This can significantly lengthen the charg-
ing time.
