IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read all instructions carefully before using this
appliance and keep them for future reference.
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less
than 8 years.
6. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of
an external timer or separate remote-control system.
7. Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces which
come in contact with food, please refer to the paragraph
"cleaning and maintenance" of the manual.
8. Always ensure hands are dry before handling the plug or
the Popcorn Maker.
9. Always operate the Popcorn Maker on a secure, dry, level
surface.
10. Always allow adequate air space above and on all sides for
air circulation. Do not allow the Popcorn Maker to touch
curtains, wall coverings, clothing, dishtowels or other
flammable materials during use. Do not use under
cupboards or curtains.
11. Caution is required on surface where heat may cause a
problem – an insulated heat pad is recommended.
12. Always be sure to unplug from the socket when not in use
and before cleaning.
