3. Inflating the cuff and measuring
Press the Start/stop button. The entire
display will light up and you can check to
see if the device is working correctly.
The "O" signal will then be displayed
and three short beeping signals will be
given to signify the complete deflation of
the cuff, whereupon inflation will com-
mence. Blood pressure and pulse are
measured during the inflation process. The
" "symbol in the display flashes and a
beep indicates the pulse. The cuff is then
inflated and blood pressure and pulse are
measured during the inflating process.
The "❤"symbol in the display will flash
and beep while the measurement is being
taken. Inflation will stop as soon as the
readings have been taken, the cuff will
then be automatically deflated.

comfort 20/40 measures blood

pressure and pulse values as the cuff is be-
ing inflated. The measurement is complete
when the cuff is being deflated.
