Never put batteries in the household
waste Always dispose of the batteries
in accordance with local regulations
1) To open the battery compartment, push the
cover (15) in the direction of the arrow stamped
on
2) Insert the batteries as indicated in the compart­
ment Observe the polarity
3) Close the cover and push it back to the stop

4.4 Connecting the receiver

Placing the earphones
1) Connect the earphones provided to the jack
(20)
2) To ensure a tight fit for different sizes of ears,
three pairs of silicone sleeves in different sizes
are supplied with the earphones Choose the
size best suited for your ears and put the
sleeves on the earphones Alternatively, use
custom­made sleeves (otoplastics) from your
audiologist
Place the earphones in your ears Lead the
corresponding cable over each ear to the back
of your head This will ensure a tighter fit than
leading the cable directly downwards
3) The 6 3 mm jack LINE / MIC (18) allows connec­
tion of an audio unit or a microphone (also an
electret microphone) The signal of the unit
connected can be monitored, e g for checking
purposes The configuration of a 6 3 mm plug
connected is as follows:

Operation
1) Turn the control VOL (12) to switch on the re­
ceiver The power LED (21) shows green If it
shows red, the batteries are weak In this case,
replace the batteries
After switching on, the channel display (14)
lights up To save the batteries, it is extinguished
after a few seconds When the button SET (13)
is pressed, it lights up again for a few seconds
2) Before switching on the transmitter, set the
receiver to a free reception channel:
a) Keep the button SET (13) pressed until the
dot on the right of the channel display (14)
starts flashing
b) Press the button repeatedly to set a free
channel

c) When the dot stops flashing, the setting has

the control of the signal to be reproduced at a
higher volume so that the corresponding LED
AF / PEAK (3) shows orange with music peaks It
