2) To connect the subsequent unit, e g mixer
or amplifier, two audio outputs are available:
– XLR output (11): balanced output for con-
nection to a microphone input (when the
20 dB level attenuation has been activated,
chapter 6 5) or to a line input
☞
– 6 3 mm jack (10): unbalanced output for
connection to a line input
3) For power supply, connect the power sup-
ply unit provided to the power supply jack
(9) and to a mains socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz)
The receiver is provided with a hook for strain
relief (8): Lead the cable around the hook to
prevent accidental disconnection of the power
supply unit from the receiver
Note: The power supply unit will still consume
power when the receiver has been switched off
Therefore, always disconnect the power supply unit
if the transmission system is not operated for a
longer period of time
5 Switching on/off
To switch on, press the button POWER (7) briefly
To switch off, keep the button POWER pressed

2) To select a function, use the button SET:
Press the button repeatedly until the desired
function is reached
3) To change the setting, use the button

For detailed information on the functions refer to
the following chapters
6.1 Function "GROUP":
Selecting a frequency from a group
When this function is selected,
ing on the display
The function „GROUP" can be used to select the
transmission frequency from a group of preset
frequencies (channels) Six groups are available;
the number of channels in each group varies:
refer to the table on page 3
This function is suggested when multiple
audio transmission systems are operated at the
same time: For each system, a different channel
can be selected from the same group In ideal
conditions, all channels from a group can be used
at the same time without mutual interference
1) The letter "G" starts flashing on the display:
Use the button
2) Press the button SET
3) The letters "CH" start flashing on the display:
Use the button
4) To save the setting, press the button SET
6.2 Function "FREQ":
Setting the frequency directly
When this function is selected,
ing on the display
The function "FREQ" can be used to select the de-

button
or
of 1 MHz
2) Press the button SET
3) The last three digits of the transmission fre-
quency start flashing: Use the button
to set the frequency in steps of 0 025 MHz
If the frequency is identical to the fre-
quency of a channel in a group, the group
number and the channel number will appear
on the display
Note: When the frequency has been set and the
setting mode is called up again to select another
