Transceiver TIC - Guide utilisateur / User guide version V2.0.0
2.2. Application operation
2.2.1 Label Discovery mode
Once the activation and the «join» procedure is done, it can be interesting to visualize all the labels produced by the electric meter.
For this, the product is equipped with a special command (DEBUG = 1) to display all labels received by it in real time on the USB virtual COM
port or using the advanced mode of the IoT Configurator.
IMPORTANT: it is imperative to read sections 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 to understand how to connect the product to a computer and how to send
commands to it.
Once the DEBUG = 1 command is done, execute the ATO command, close the serial communication to reopen it a few seconds later (the time
the product restarts). The labels received by the product will be displayed in real time (if the register 320 is at 0, otherwise the display will be at
the rate of the polling period defined by the register 320) on your PC interface software following the example below:

Explanations of the result:
•
The first column indicates the exact title of the label read (thus the one that will have to be put in the configuration registers)
•
The second column indicates the associated value (as it is sent by the counter)
•
The third column indicates whether the LoRaWAN TIC product was able to convert it to numerical: in this case the numerical value is
displayed, otherwise the N / A indicates that the value read contains characters that make conversion impossible (see section 2.2. 8). This
column is also very useful for the configuration of the product (data type).
•
The fourth column indicates the timestamp corresponding (when the information is available)
The write speed (in real time) on the interface makes it possible to have an indication on the transmission frequency of the information of the
counter and to adjust according to the period of acquisition of the LoRaWAN TIC product.
IMPORTANT: for the Label Discovery mode, the product must not be in PARC mode, the product must have been previously declared on a net-
work and the activation must have taken place. This mode automatically turns off when the USB cable is disconnected.
