III. ASSEMBLY
Fitting a saw blade
CAUTION:
• Wear gloves when exchanging the saw
blade.
• Immediately after operation the saw
blade will be hot. Remove only after it
has cooled down.
• When attaching or removing a saw blade
or preparing, inspecting or storing the
device, be sure to remove the battery
pack first. Failure to do this could lead to
unintended operation and injury.
1. Loosen the saw blade cover fixing
screw and remove the saw blade cover.

• The saw blade cover separates into
two.
2. Rotate the saw blade tension lever 180
degrees clockwise (direction of the
arrow), to release tension. [Fig.2]
• Firmly set the saw blade tension lever
to maintain the saw blade tension.
3. Insert the saw blade into the saw blade
restraining bearings from the rear.
[Fig.3]
• Be sure to push it home until the back
of the blade contacts with the inside of
the saw blade restraining bearings.
