Congratulations
on purchasing a premium product from Helios Ventilatoren. As a Helios customer, you will benefit from the company's many years of experience in the
industry and you will receive a premium quality unit. All units have been tested for functionality during production. Not only are the obvious features (e.g.
fan operation) tested, but also the functions which cannot be tested by the customer. These include e.g. the internal and external leakage testing and the
electrical safety test. Your operating costs are also reduced by innovative ideas in the field of control and regulation technology.
Nevertheless, should you unexpectedly have a problem with our unit, contact the professional installer or our Helios customer service team.

Basic information
In order to ensure correct operation and for your own safety, please read and observe the following instructions careful-
ly before proceeding. Relevant national standards, safety regulations and provisions (e.g. DIN EN VDE 0100) as well as
the technical connection conditions of the energy supply company must be observed and applied.
This document should be regarded as part of the product and as such should be kept accessible and durable to ensure
the safe operation of the ventilation unit. All plant-related safety regulations must be observed. The document must be
issued to the operator (tenant/owner) after the final assembly.
Warning instructions
The adjacent symbols are safety-relevant prominent warning symbols . All safety regulations and/or symbols
in this document must be absolutely adhered to, so that any risks of injury and dangerous situations are pre-
vented!

Protective glasses
Serves to protect against eye injuries.
Protective clothing
Primarily serves to protect against contact with moving parts.
Do not wear rings, chains or other jewellery.
Protective gloves
Protective gloves serve to protect the hands against rubbing, abrasions, cuts
or more profound injuries, as well as contact with hot surfaces.
Protective footwear
Protective footwear serves to protect against heavy falling parts and from slip-
ping on slippery surfaces.
Hair net
The hair net primarily serves to protect long hair against contact with moving
parts.
Special regulations apply for use, connection and operation; consultation is requi-
red in case of doubt. Further information can be found in the relevant standards and
legal texts.
With regard to all work on the ventilation unit, the generally applicable safety at
work and accident prevention regulations must be observed!
• Suitable protective equipment must be worn for all work on the unit!
• The following must be observed before all installation, maintenance,
repair and cleaning work as well as for dismantling or before opening
the terminal compartment:
– Isolate the unit from the mains power supply and secure against
unintended restart!
– The rotating parts must first come to a standstill!
– Once the rotating parts come to a standstill, a waiting time of 3 min .
