9.5.
Setting the operating mode
Keep pressing the [Menu] button until "Auto MODE"
appears on the display to set the operating mode.
Use the knob to select the operating mode
• "0 Conti" means continuous operation mode;
• "1 Step" represents the step-by-step mode; a step
is taken when the trigger occurs.
9.6.
Activating / deactivating Auto Start
Set "Auto Status" to ON, the ("TIME") icon will light
up. This means that the device has entered the
automatic operation mode.
If the device is in the continuous operation mode, the
third parameter displayed represents the remaining
time for enable the settings in the current parameter
group. Press [On / Off] to start the output flow.
If the device is in the step mode, press [On / Off] to
start the output flow. The device generates an output
flow when the trigger occurs.
10.
Auxiliary function

can extend other functions according to the user's
needs. Press the [•••] button (the button lights up) to
enter the auxiliary settings interface.
11.
Battery charging function
The device has a battery charging function.
Keep pressing the [•••] button until "BATTER STATUS"
appears on the display. Use the rotary knob to
activate the battery charging function; the [•••]
button lights up. Press the [Menu] button to select
the following functions:
• threshold charging voltage - UNDERV
• AC voltage - STATUV
• conservative charging current - TRICKL
• standard charging current - CHARGE
• current threshold termination - I OFF
• charging time - TIME
12.
Turning the output flow on / off
The On / Off button on the front panel is used to turn
the output power on and off.
13.
Panel lock
The [Lock] button is used to lock the front panel
to prevent the accidental entering of incorrect
operating parameters. Press the [Lock] button, the
button backlight will come on which means the front
panel is locked. All the other buttons and the rotary
knob are turned off except for the [Lock] button and
the [On / Off] button.
14.
Rotary knob
Press the rotary knob to change the cursor position.
15.
Protection function
The device is equipped with overvoltage protection
(O.V.P), overcurrent protection (O.C.P), over-power
protection (O.P.P) and over-temperature protection
(O.T.P).
The O.V.P and O.C.P levels can be set using the
[O.V.P. Level] and [O.C.P Level] buttons on the front
panel respectively.
The O.P.P function protects the device when the
EN
output power exceeds the rated power. The output
flow is switched off in the O.P.P. mode
The O.T.P function protects the device when too
high temperature is generated during the operating
process. The output flow is switched off in the O.T.P.
mode.
16.
Operating modes:
16.1. Constant voltage value:
Connect the load to the power connection (+, -). For
safety, turn off the output flow before connecting
the load to the output connections.
Set the present current limit value.
• Press the [Current], the control panel will enter
the current input mode. Set the desired value
using the number buttons or the knob.
Setting the desired output voltage value:
• Press the [Voltage], the control panel will enter
the voltage input mode. Set the desired value
using the numeric buttons or the knob.
Starting the output flow:
• Press the [On / Off] to turn on the flow. The device
will display the present flow value.
Confirming the constant voltage mode:
• Check whether the CV sign is displayed or not to
make sure that the output flow is in the constant
voltage mode. If the CC sign is displayed, the
current limit must be increased.
16.2. Constant current value:
Connect the load to the connection (+, -).
For safety, turn off the output flow before connecting
the load to the output connections
Set the voltage limit.
• Press the [Voltage], the control panel will enter
the voltage input mode. Set the desired value
using the numeric buttons or the knob.
Set the desired output current value:
• Press the [Current], the control panel will enter
the current input mode. Set the desired value
using the numeric buttons or the knob.
Starting the output flow:
• Press the [On / Off] to turn on the flow. The device
will display the present output flow value.
Confirming the constant current:
• Check whether the CC sign is displayed or not to
make sure that the output flow is in the constant
current mode. If a CV sign appears, the voltage
limit must be increased.
16.3. CV / CC switch
When the output current level reaches the set value
(ON), the CC (Constant Current) sign will light up and
the unit will operate in the constant current mode.
When the output voltage level reaches the set value,
the CV (Constant Voltage) sign will light up and the
unit will operate in the constant voltage mode.
The device automatically switches between DC mode
and constant voltage mode, depending on the load.
