Operation

Danger!
The individual modules of the Raclette
transport the modules when they are connected. They could become unlinked and fall, causing moderate
to severe injuries or damage.
Caution!
Children and/or persons who do not have enough experience using the equipment or with limited physical,
sensory, or mental capacity may use the equipment only under the supervision of a person responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised so they do not play with the appliance.
6.1.

Starting Up/Operation

1. Use a washable, heat-resistant surface because spattering may occur.
2. Important: Please ensure that the power cord, connecting cord, and raclette pans do not touch the heat coil!
3. Take one base module and connect up to 3 additional modules to it. Connect them as described in the variation
in section 6.2.
4. Plug the power cord into a suitable socket according to Chapter 14 "Technical Specifications". The Raclette
now ready to use.
5. Turn the temperature control clockwise as far as it will go to heat the grill as quickly as possible.
6. After a few minutes of preheating, the grill is ready to use. The granite slab should be heated up somewhat longer.
7. Brush the grill or stone (if needed, the pans as well) lightly with oil, butter, etc.
8. You can now grill the prepared meat, fish, or vegetables on the grill or stone. Important: Do not place frozen
food on the stone.
9. Put the desired ingredients into the raclette pans and place them on the shelf below the heat element.
10. You can adjust the temperature control – to start with it should be somewhat higher and then it can be reduced.
11. When the ingredients are done, remove the raclette pans. To avoid scratching the coating, use the heat-resistant
plastic scrapers to scrape the food from the pans.
12. Important: The raclette pans are hot. Hold them only by the heat-resistant handles and place them only on
heat-resistant holders. During breaks, you can place empty hot raclette pans under the raclette shelf. The pans
are held at the edges and are protected from more heat. In this way you do not require additional mats.
13. We recommend not operating the appliance for long periods without food. Switch it off during longer breaks
and switch it back on when needed.
14. After use, pull the power cord from the socket and allow the appliance to cool down completely on the table.
Then separate the modules and carry them away separately.
