Fix the cutter by fastening the bolts,
opposed to the direction as shown.
To replace the other cutter, rotate the
cylinder 180° and repeat the steps
described above.
Always unplug the tool before replacing
the cutters.
Adjusting a cutter
Set the planning depth to 0.
Turn the screws in or out to determine
the correct adjustment. The cutter is
properly adjusted when the cutting edge
touches the surface of the work piece.
Setting the planning depth
Turn the adjustment knob until the
desired planning depth is reached.
The depth setting can be read from the
scale.
Mounting and setting the parallel fence
The parallel fence is used for planning
along edges.
Loosen the fixing screw.
Hold the parallel fence right across its
width against the side of the machine.
The groove should engage in the bracket.
Insert the mounting screw from the
opposite side of the machine into the
mounting hole and turn it into the
bracket.
Securely tighten the mounting screw.
Tighten the fixing screw.
To set the parallel fence, proceed as
follows.
Loosen the set screw.
Set the parallel fence to the required
distance.
Tighten the set screw.
USE
Switching on and off
To switch the tool on, keep the lock-off
button depressed and press the on/off
switch.
To switch the tool off, release the on/off
switch.
