Class II – The machine is double
insulated, an earthed wire is not
necessary.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the machine, always observe the
enclosed safety instructions as well as the
additional safety instructions. The following
symbols are used throughout this manual.
Before using the tool, make sure that the
cutters have been properly mounted.
Do not use the tool before it has been
fully adjusted according to the
instructions.
Before planning, let the tool run without
load to check if the cutters are properly
balanced.
Never load the tool so much that the
motor is coming to a standstill.
When planning, shavings may assemble
in the grooves. Do not remove the

shavings with your hands – use a piece of
wood.
Only use the cutter cylinder and cutters
supplied with the tool.
Use original accessories only.
Only use sharp cutters.
If you want to make adjustments to the
tool, switch it off, wait for the cylinder to
come to a standstill and unplug the tool.
Switch off the tool and wait for the
cutters to come to a standstill before
putting the tool down.
Reduce the planning depth to avoid
contact between the cutters and other
objects.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Always check that the power supply
corresponds to the voltage on the rating
plate.
DESCRIPTION
Your planning has been designed for planning
wooden work pieces. This tool is not suitable
for stationary use.
ASSEMBLY
Replacing the cutters
Place the tool on a table with the
planning base pointing towards you.
Rotate the cylinder until the first cutter is
visible.
Loosen the screws a few turns, into the
direction as shown.
Loosen the bolts a few turns, into the
direction as shown.
Keep the screening pressed and remove
the holder with the cutter from the
cylinder, into the direction as shown.
Disassemble the parts of the holder so
that the cutter comes loose.
The cutter has two cutting edges. When
both cutting edges are worn, the cutter
must be replaced.
Turn the cutter so that the new cutting
edge is facing upwards or take a new
cutter.
Place the cutter between the parts of the
holder.
Keep the screening pressed and place the
holder with the cutter in the cylinder. Re-
adjust the cutter.
