TROUBLESHOOTING AND USER HINTS
Problem: Light doesn't come on when there is motion in the moni-
tored area.
Possible Cause 1:
No power
Possible Cause 2:
Nearby
lighting is too bright
Possible Cause 3:
Control elements
set wrong
Possible Cause 4:
Sensor is aimed
in wrong direction
Problem: Light activates for no apparent reason (false alarm)
Possible Cause 1:
Heat sources such as
sources.
air conditioners,
air conditioning ducts,
exhaust vents, other
external lighting, running
cars activate the sensor.
Possible Cause 2:
Animals e.g martens
or house pets.
Possible Cause 3:
Interference from
activation/deactivation
of fans or lights
on the same
circuit as your
Light.
Possible Cause 4:
Reflections from pool
or from reflecting
surfaces.
Suggested solution:
Check all connections and
fuses/switches
Suggested Solution:
re-aim sensor or move unit
or turn the LUX-setting dial toward ( ).
