4.3 Checking the delivery
contents
After unpacking, check the product immediately for
damage sustained during transport and for
completeness; inform the manufacturer of any
damage as soon as possible.
4.4 Disposing of the packaging
material
The packaging consists of the following materials:
Outer cardboard packaging
Polyethylene (PE) shrink film
Polyethylene (PE) bubble wrap
Cardboard or polyethylene (PE) edge protectors
Polyethylene (PE) corner protectors
These materials are recyclable. If assembled by
Steelcase or an assembly company authorised by
Steelcase, the manufacturer will dispose of the
packaging. If you assemble the desk yourself, please
ensure that the packaging material is correctly sorted
by type and returned to the recycling process.

4.5 Assembly

Please follow the provided assembly instructions to
assemble the Migration SE Desk & Bench product.
Steelcase recommends having the
authorised dealer or an assembly
company assemble the furniture.

Attaching accessories

Please follow the provided assembly instructions for
attaching accessories.

4.5.1 Dismantling the product

The Migration SE Desk & Bench product can be
dismantled into its partially-assembled components.
Dismantling should be carried out by skilled and
qualified personnel only. Follow the separate
disassembly instructions.
After dismantling the product, e.g. for transport
reasons:

Transport and storage
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the desktop!
Reassemble the two side frames only with
the appropriate desktop cross-member of
the same desk.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage to lift mechanism!
The values stored in the
controller do not agree with the
settings of a different desk.
4.5.2

Re-assembly

Follow the separate assembly instructions in this
regard.

4.6 Electrical connection

Check the electrical equipment of the
desk. Rectify defects such as loose
connections or damaged cables
immediately.
Attach or detach connectors only when
the equipment is de-energised.
The plug of the desk must be easily
accessible at all times.
