● EOS 60DaはEOS 60Dの｢天体仕様カメラ｣です。 このカメ
ラのHα線 （656nm） に対する感度は、 EOS 60Dと比較し
て約3倍になっています。 そのため、 赤外反射光の多い被写体
を撮影した場合は、 実際より赤みがかった撮影画像になりま
す。 また、 適切なカラーバランスが得られないことがあるた
め、 一般的な被写体の撮影はおすすめできません。
● 操作方法はEOS 60Dと共通です。付属の｢EOS 60D使用
説明書｣を参照してください。また、｢ソフトウェア使用説明
書｣については、EOS 60Dの項目を参照してください。
使用方法に関するご注意
● 長時間露光を行う前にライブビュー映像を表示するときは、30秒
以内を目安にしてください。ライブビュー映像をしばらくの間表
示したり、動画撮影を行ったりすると、撮像素子の発熱により、
撮影画像のノイズが増加することがあります。
● ライブビュー機能でピントを合わせたときは、ライブビュー機能
を終了した後、しばらくたってから撮影することをおすすめしま
す。ピント合わせ直後に撮影すると、ノイズが増加することがあ
ります。
● 長時間露光を行ったり繰り返し撮影を行うと、ノイズが増加しま
す。
● 試し撮りを行って、あらかじめノイズの増加具合を確認すること
をおすすめします。
● バルブ撮影が主体となるため、電池の消費量が増えます。予備の
電池を携行することをおすすめします。また、家庭用電源が利用
可能な場合は、付属のACアダプターキットACK-E6の使用をおす
すめします。なお、フル充電のバッテリーパックLP-E6使用時の
連続バルブ撮影可能時間は、約6時間（常温：＋23℃）です。
● 長時間のバルブ撮影や高ISO感度で撮影を行うと、ファインダー
から入った光が画像に写り込むことがあります。ファインダーか
ら目を離して撮影を行うときは、必ずアイピースカバーを使用し
てください。
● 望遠鏡を使用して高速のシャッター速度で撮影するときは、必ず
[静音撮影]を[しない]に設定してください。[モード1][モード2]に設定
すると、適正露出にならなかったり、露出ムラが発生することが
あります。
● 本機とパソコンを接続して付属のソフトウェアを使用した場合、
使用カメラ名は「EOS 60D」と表示されます。
付属品について
● EOS 60Daには、｢ACアダプターキット ACK-E6｣、およびN3端
子リモコン用の変換ケーブル｢リモートコントローラーアダプター
RA-E3｣が付属しています。
● 付属のリモートコントローラー
アダプター RA-E3は、EOS
60Da専用です。RA-E3を利
用すると、リモートスイッチ
RS-80N3、タイマーリモート
コントローラーTC-80N3を使
用することができます。図のよ
うに、①RA-E3とリモコンを
接続してから、②RA-E3をカ
メラに取り付けてください。
●EOS 60Daには、｢ワイドスト
ラップ EW-100DBIII｣が付属
しています（EOS 60D使用説明書3ページ、292ページに記載
の｢ワイドストラップ EW-EOS60D｣は付属していません）。
EOS 60D使用説明書の内容について
● EOS 60Daに付属の 「EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk」 には、
｢ImageBrowser EX｣が収録されています。 EOS 60D使用説明
書314ページに記載の｢ZoomBrowser EX (Win)／
ImageBrowser (Mac)｣は収録されていません。
● ｢ImageBrowser EX｣は、主にJPEG画像を撮影される方におす
すめのソフトウェアです。簡単な操作で、静止画／MOV動画の閲
覧・再生、およびJPEG画像の印刷ができます。また、インター
ネットに接続して取得できる追加機能もあります。

Thank you for purchasing a Canon product.
● The EOS 60Da is a version of the EOS 60D designed for
astrophotography. This camera is approximately three times
more sensitive to hydrogen-alpha light (656 nm) than the
EOS 60D. Photographs of subjects that refl ect a lot of infra-
red light will therefore appear redder than they actually are.
Also, as it may not be possible to obtain an appropriate color
balance, shooting normal subjects with this camera is not
recommended.
● The camera operations are the same as for the EOS 60D.
See the provided EOS 60D Instruction Manual. For Software
Instruction Manuals, see the information concerning the EOS
60D.
Usage Precautions
● If you display the Live View image before taking a long exposure, it
is recommended to stop the Live View display within approximately
30 sec. If the Live View image is displayed for a while or a movie
is shot, the heat from the image sensor may cause the noise to
increase in the image shot.
● When focusing with the Live View function, it is recommended that
you wait a short time after turning off the Live View function and
before starting to shoot. If you shoot immediately after focusing,
the noise may increase.
● Noise will increase when taking a long exposure, or shooting
repeatedly.
● It is recommended that you take some test shots to check in
advance how noise increases in the image.
● Battery power will decrease more quickly as bulb exposures
become the main form of shooting. Carrying a spare battery is
recommended. Also, if a household power outlet can be used,
using the provided AC Adapter Kit ACK-E6 is recommended. Note
that you can shoot a continuous bulb exposure for approximately
6 hours with a fully charged Battery Pack LP-E6 (room
temperature: 23°C / 73°F).
● When shooting a bulb exposure for a long time or shooting at a
high ISO speed, light that enters from the viewfi nder may appear
in the image. When you do not look through the viewfi nder during
shooting, be sure to use the eyepiece cover.
● When using a telescope and shooting with a fast shutter speed,
be sure to set [Silent shooting] to [Disable]. Setting [Mode 1] or
[Mode 2] may result in incorrect or irregular exposures.
● When you connect the camera to a computer and use the provided
software, "EOS 60D" is displayed as the name of the used camera.
About the Provided Items
● The AC Adapter Kit ACK-E6 and the Remote Controller Adapter
RA-E3 conversion cable for N3 terminal remote control are
provided with the EOS 60Da.
● The provided Remote Controller
Adapter RA-E3 is an accessory
specifi c to the EOS 60Da. The
RA-E3 RA-E3
RA-E3 makes it possible to
also use the Remote Switch
RS-80N3 and Timer Remote
Controller TC-80N3. As shown
in the illustration, ①Connect
the RA-E3 and the remote
controller, and then ②Plug the
RA-E3 to the camera.
● The Wide Strap EW-100DBIII
is provided with the EOS 60Da.
(The Wide Strap EW-EOS60D
described on page 3 or 292 of the EOS 60D Instruction Manual is
not provided.)
About the Contents of the EOS 60D
Instruction Manual
● "ImageBrowser EX" is included in the "EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk"
that is provided with the EOS 60Da. "ZoomBrowser EX (Win)/
ImageBrowser (Mac)" described on page 314 of the EOS 60D
Instruction Manual is not included.
● The ImageBrowser EX software is recommended for users who
mainly shoot JPEG images. You can easily view images and
play back MOV movies. You can also print JPEG images. With
an internet connection, it is also possible to download additional
functions.
Digital Camera Model DS126421 Systems
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
DS126321 in EOS 60D Instruction Manual (p.307) shall be deemed
to be replaced with DS126421 for EOS 60Da.

MODE D'EMPLOI

● L'EOS 60Da est une version de l'EOS 60D conçue pour
l'astrophotographie. Cet appareil photo est environ trois
fois plus sensible à la lumière hydrogène alpha (656 nm) que
l'EOS 60D. Par conséquent, les photos de sujets réfl échissant
beaucoup de lumière infrarouge apparaîtront plus rouges
qu'en réalité. Par ailleurs, étant donné qu'il peut s'avérer
impossible d'obtenir une balance des couleurs correcte, il est
déconseillé de photographier des sujets ordinaires avec
cet appareil photo.
● Cet appareil photo s'utilise de la même façon que l'EOS 60D.

Précautions d'utilisation
● Si vous affi chez l'image de Visée par l'écran avant les expositions
longues, il est recommandé de fermer l'affi chage de Visée par
l'écran dans les 30 secondes environ. Si l'image de Visée par
l'écran est affi chée pendant un moment ou si une vidéo est fi lmée,
la chaleur du capteur d'image peut accroître le bruit sur l'image
prise.
● Lors de la mise au point avec la fonction de Visée par l'écran, il
est recommandé d'attendre un bref instant après avoir désactivé
la fonction de Visée par l'écran et avant de commencer à
photographier. Si vous photographiez immédiatement après la
mise au point, le bruit peut augmenter.
● Le bruit augmente avec les expositions longues ou la prise de vue
répétée.
● Il est recommandé de prendre des photos tests pour vérifi er au
préalable dans quelle mesure le bruit augmente sur l'image.
● La batterie s'use plus vite si les poses longues sont principalement
utilisées pour la prise de vue. Il est recommandé d'emporter une
batterie de réserve. Par ailleurs, si vous disposez d'une prise
secteur, il est recommandé d'utiliser le kit adaptateur secteur
ACK-E6 fourni. Veuillez noter que vous pouvez prendre une pose
longue en continu pendant environ 6 heures avec une batterie LP-E6
complètement chargée (température ambiante : 23 °C / 73 °F).
● Lorsque vous prenez une pose longue pendant une période
prolongée ou photographiez à une sensibilité ISO élevée, la
lumière pénétrant par le viseur peut apparaître sur l'image. Si vous
ne regardez pas dans le viseur pendant la prise de vue, veillez à
utiliser le volet d'oculaire.
● Lorsque vous utilisez un télescope et photographiez à une
vitesse d'obturation rapide, veillez à régler [Déclen silencieux]
sur [Désactivé]. Si vous choisissez [Mode 1] ou [Mode 2], vous
risquez d'obtenir une exposition incorrecte ou irrégulière.
● Lorsque vous raccordez l'appareil photo à un ordinateur et utilisez
le logiciel fourni, « EOS 60D » s'affi che comme nom pour l'appareil
photo utilisé.
