ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• Prior to plugging into an electrical socket, be
sure that the on/off switch is in the off position
in order to prevent unintentionally powering on
the tool.
• Unplug the device prior to any adjustments,
changing out accessories or storage.
• Keep tool away from rain and other moist
environments. Water could seep in and cause
electrical shock.
• Do not operate tool outside or near water.
• Only use with appropriate electrical sockets.
Never manipulate the plug. Never use adapter
plugs with this tool.
• Only use the device power cord for intended
use. Never use it to carry or pull, and never
pull on the cord to unplug from the electrical
socket.
• Keep power cord away from heat, sharp
edges and moving parts. Damaged cables
increase the threat of electrical shock and fire.
• Never use device if the power cord or socket
are damaged, if the device is not working
properly, has been dropped, damaged or
immersed in water.
WARRANTY STATEMENT
• Irrespective of statutory warranty claims,
the manufacturer provides a warranty in
accordance with the laws of your country,
at least one year (2 years in Germany). The
warranty begins on the date the device is
purchased by the end consumer.
• This warranty applies exclusively to defects
resulting from material or manufacturing errors.
• Repairs covered by warranty may be carried
out only by authorised customer service. The
original sales receipt (with purchase date)
must be included for the warranty claim to be
honoured.
The following are excluded from
warranty protection:
- normal wear and tear
- improper use, such as overloading the
device, unauthorised accessories
- damage caused by external factors,
forceful use or foreign objects
- damage resulting from non-observance of
instructions, such as connecting to improper
voltage or non following assembly instructions
- completely or partially disassembled devices
DISPOSAL
This product may not be disposed of in house-
hold waste. Old devices contain valuable, re-
cyclable materials that should be recycled in
order to prevent health risks to the environ-
ment or humans resulting from improper waste
disposal. For this reason, please dispose of
old devices via suitable collection systems or
return the device to the point of purchase for
disposal. They will then return the device for
recycling.
