The addiQuick can be used with two different needle
sizes: fine and coarse. The finer the needle, the
finer the contours and the smoother the surface.
The fine needle is best used for filigree work. The
coarse needles are mainly for larger items and
rough shaping, because their larger barbs interlock
more wool fibers.
If a figure or shape consists of several pieces of felt,
first work all pieces separately and then connect
them to one another by felting, e.g., one body, two
arms and legs.
When felting a hollow body (e.g., a bag), a foam
pad must be placed in between the felt layers as
a separator. Otherwise, both layers would be
felted together.

FELTING NEEDLE
1. Unscrew and remove
the black tip (a) of the
addiQuick felting tool.
You now have access to
the quick release clamp (b)
that holds the felting
needle.
2. Also remove the screw
on the quick release
clamp, pull out the felting
needle, and insert the new
felting needle.
3. Now reattach the
screw on the quick
release clamp by turning
clockwise. Finally, screw
the tip back onto the
addiQuick tool.
One or two needles may
break until you have
developed a sensitivity to
how the addiQuick works.
Practice makes perfect,
as well all know.
