General notes

- Only fill reservoir 1 with clean, cold water.
Never fill the reservoir with milk or prepared
drinks such as tea or coffee, as this would
damage the coffee maker.
- Never fill reservoir 1 beyond the max.
mark, otherwise thermo carafe 7 will
overflow.
- Use medium ground coffee (5 g per cup,
which is the same as one slightly heaped
measuring spoon 14).
- It is recommended that the reservoir be
filled with enough water to fill at least
3 cups, otherwise it will not be possible to
achieve the temperature and strength of
coffee desired. 1 cup = approx. 125 ml.
- Do not remove thermo carafe 7 during the
brewing process, otherwise filter 5 could
overflow.
- When button 12 is pressed, the carafe
automatically moves into the serving
position and the coffee maker switches off.
- Always place thermo carafe 7 in the coffee
maker with its lid closed.
- Do not use any other thermal carafe,
otherwise the special drip protection will
prevent the coffee from filtering through.
- Condensation forming on filter holder 3
does not constitute a fault. It is design
related.
