Assembly GH 2600 #94064 (Fig. F/G)
Attention! Turn off and unplug the appliance before
maintenance, cleaning and assembly. The same
procedure applies to damaged, cut or tangled cable.
Keep power supply voltage: power supply voltage must
correspond to data on the appliance product label.
Small conductor size of the extension cable significantly
reduces power output of the appliance. For cables up to 25
metres, minimum cross section is 3 x 1.5mm², for cables
over 25 metres, minimum cross section is 2.5mm².
Attention! The extension cables not corresponding to the
requirements must not be used. The extension cable, plug
and socket must be water-proof and approved for outdoor
application.
Cable connections must be dry and must not rest on
ground.
If a cable drum is used, it must be unreeled.

(Fig. B/C)
•
Unpack the appliance and assemble the tube
frame of the appliance (Fig. B).

Now, assemble the carriage and transport
wheels (Fig. C).
For GH 2600 P #94064, proceed as follows:
(Fig. F, G)
•
Unpack the appliance (Fig. F/2 and F/3)
•
Take the collection box and attach legs to the
appliance (Fig. F/4 and F/5)
•
Attach the carriage and transport wheels (Fig.

lever (G/10-1 a G/10-2). Attention! The
appliance does not operate without clamping!
Operation
Always put the appliance on solid and leveled surface. Do
never tilt or move the appliance if it is on and running.
Attention! The engine runs down after turning off.
Remove soil from the root balls and avoid penetration of
foreign objects such as stones, glass, metals, plastic
materials or textiles in the filling hopper and thereby to the
appliance, cutting roll; the appliance may get damaged.
The filling hopper must be empty.
Turning on
Press green Start pushbutton (Fig. A/3) or
(Fig. E/2)
Turning off
Press red Stop pushbutton (Fig. A/3) or
(Fig. E/2)
Safety feature against repeated running up
The safety feature against repeated running up prevents
sudden engine start after power supply failure.
Reverse operation
Press and hold the reverse operation button (Fig. A/4),
(Fig. A/4a) and depending on your model, press also
green Start button (Fig. A/3) or (Fig. E/2), the cutting roll
then rotates in reverse direction and releases the clogged
material.
Overload safety feature
If the appliance is exposed to excessive load (e.g. clogging
of cutting roll), the appliance halts after several seconds.
Work instructions
Material supply
Insert the shredded material only, the rotating cutting roll
will draw it in automatically.
•
Insert such quantity of material not to clog
the hopper.
•
Do not shred soft waste without solid
consistency but compost it directly.
•
Make sure the shredded material exits to the
collection box or bag without any
restrictions - danger of clogging!
•
Best results are achieved if you shred fresh
branches shortly after cutting.
Adjustment of pressure plate
The pressure plate is calibrated by the manufacturer and
requires no adjustment before first commissioning.
Adjustment of the pressure plate is required in case of
wear, e.g. when the branches wedge in chain each other
and they can not be shredded correctly.
In this case proceed as follows:
Turn the engine on and slowly rotate the adjustment knob
(Fig. A/9 or Fig. E/6) or Fig. H/13 clockwise to hear slight
friction. The cutting roll sharpens the pressure plate to
correct distance. Adjust the plate so that it is not worn too
early.
