Grilling

n The meat should be cut in small pieces not larger than 2 x 2 x 2 cm.
For larger pieces, the cooking/barbecuing time increases.
n TIP: Brush with oil before grilling.
n In the case of sausages or prawns longer than approx. 4 cm, place onto the mini skewer
at an angle or lengthways.
n The food must not touch the heating coil otherwise it will halt the rotation and cause the
food to burn. Ideally use 2 pieces of meat and a vegetable to serve as a stopper.
n Slide the food items onto the flat, corrugated surface of the mini skewer.
n Different types of meat and fish have different cooking times. So ensure you use and grill
the same kind of meat or fish on any one mini skewer.
n Do not use spices as these can burn and fall off.
n Pre-cooked fruit and vegetable pieces can also be added to the mini skewers.
n In general, ensure that the food pieces sit on the flat, corrugated surface to avoid them
slipping off.
n NOTE: Do not overfill the revolving mini skewers or use them incorrectly.
n Hold the filled mini skewer at a slight angle and insert the tip into the opening on the bottom
guide (1.). Then lift slightly and place on the driver roller (2.). The mini skewer will now be
evenly rotated and cooked (3.).
n When the food is cooked, hold the handle on the top and lift out. Carefully push hot pieces of
food onto the place with a fork. Season meat or add sauces to taste. Bon appétit!
