1. Place the machine on a flat surface.
2. Open the kettle by pulling the lid upwards. Then fill with water. The water level
should be between the Min. and Max. marks, Please do not overfill the machi-
ne.
3. Now close the lid.
4. Electrical connection
• Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as
that of the machine. The relevant information can be found on the type plate.
• Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safety socket.
5. The control lamp shows that the water is being boiled.
6. To interrupt or stop the boiling process, the mains lead must be removed!
The machine switches off automatically!
• Always remove the plug from the mains supply before cleaning the machine!
• The exterior of the machine should be cleaned, if necessary, with a slightly
damp cloth without additives.
• The decalcification intervals depend on the hardness of the water and the fre-
quency of use.
• Please do not use vinegar but a commercially available decalcification agent on
the basis of citric acid. Only use the quantities stated in the instructions.
This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines,
such as electromagnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been
constructed in accordance with the latest safety regulations.

The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting
on the date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories *) ascriba-
ble to material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repai-
ring or, at our discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an
extension of the life of the guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new
guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of
purchase no free replacement or repair will be carried out.
