When a DV format tape is recorded on a DVCAM recorder
through a DV connection, even if non-drop-frame is specified,
the indication on this unit is drop-frame. This is because the
tape recording format is incorrect. Discrepancies therefore arise
in the "DUR" and "TOTAL" indications given for the tape.
However, if recorded on a DVCAM recorder through an analog
connection, a correctly formatted DVCAM tape is obtained and
the problem can be eliminated.
