Installing the electrical system
1. Disconnect the ground terminal of the battery.
2. If necessary, remove the following coverings and panels:
In the luggage trunk
Open the covers of the left and right rear pillars

3. Lay the cable harnesses from the outside into the vehicle through the existing plugs (Fig. 1/8)
on the left and right. Cut into the plug (Fig. 2/1) and cut out an appropriate hole.
4. Fit the socket gasket and connect the cable harness to the socket housing in accordance with
the pin assignment plan (Fig. 1/6) and push the rubber grommet against the socket.
5. Screw the socket onto the holding plate (Fig. 1/6) using the supplied screws and nuts.
6. Secure the cable harness using cable ties.
Connecting the tail lights
7. Lead the cable end with the gray/red cable to the right-hand tail light (Fig. 1/7).
8. Unplug the plug of the right-hand tail light and connect it to its counterpart on the cable
harness. Plug the residual plug back into the tail light (Fig. 1/7). Make sure that the plugs lock
firmly into place.
9. Lead the cable end with the gray/black cable to the left-hand tail light (Fig. 1/3).
10. Unplug the plug of the left-hand tail light and connect it to its counterpart on the cable
harness. Plug the residual plug back into the tail light. Make sure that the plugs lock firmly into
place.
Connecting the trailer control module
11. Plug the 12-pin plug into the trailer control module (Fig. 1/5).
12. Fasten the trailer control module (Fig. 1/5) in the rear left pillar of the luggage trunk using
some velcro tape. Make sure it is securely fastened!
13. Connect the brown wires with the eyelet to the vehicle's ground point (Fig. 1/1). If necessary,
set up a conductive connection to the vehicle's ground.
