d. Place shift lever in F1 or F2 (Forward) position. Tines will not turn.
e. Lift handle to raise tines out of the ground.
f. Swing the handle in the opposite direction you wish to turn, being careful to keep feet and legs away from the tines.
g. When you have completed your turn-around, lower the handle.
h. Release the clutch lever and place the shift lever in CRT or SRT (tilling) position.
Move the throttle control lever to desired speed.
To begin tilling, pull the clutch lever against the handle.
5) DEPTH STAND
Tilling depth can be adjusted by the depth stand.
a. Move depth stand adjustment lever to the release position. (12)
b. Adjust tilling depth using the depth stake adjustment lever. (10)
Deep tilling : raise the manual depth stand upward. (11)
Shallow tilling : go the manual depth stand downward. (11)

c. Release depth stake adjustment lever (12) and fixed the stake after determining tilling depth.

7) DIFFERENTIAL LEVER
ON : Allows differential action for easy turning. (3)
OFF : Drives both wheels for maximum traction. (2)
To operate :
a. Release shift lever before shifting differential lever. (1)
b. If lever doesn't move easily into the off position, turn machine left or
right 1/8 to 1/4 turn while pressing down on lever.
Repeat until engaged.
Do not force the differential shift lever.
8) Tilling
a. Pull the depth stand adjustment lever to released position and adjust the
depth wich is required.
b. Pace the shift lever (4) in SRT or CRT depending on the ground condition
and then pull the clutch lever against the handle slowly to start tiling.
c. Select also the resistance stand position, considering to the ground condi-
tion.
V - MAINTENANCE ; CHECKS ; STORAGE (HAVE THIS WORK DONE BY AN APPROVED REPAIR SHOP)
REMARKS : Disconnect spark plug wire before performing any maintenance (except carburetor adjustement) to
prevent accidental starting of engine. Prevent fires. Keep the engine free of grass, leaves, spilled oil or fuel.
Remove fuel from tank before tipping unit for maintenance.
Clean muvvler area of all grass, dirt and debris.
1) DRIVE BELT ADJUSTMENT
a. Stop the engine and remove the belt cover by taking out one nut.
b. Keep the clutch lever engaged, using a rope etc.
