NOTE: Make sure that the seat is locked into one of the three reclining positions, and is not halfway
between two positions.
HEADREST AND SAFETY HARNESS ADJUSTEMENT
WARNING! A correct adjusted harness is essential for your child's protection. Thee should not be
more than a fingers width between the harness and your child.
Your car seat is fitted with a movable headrest which also adjusts the height of the harness. The
headrest has six positions (24)
The child's head should sit directly in the middle of the headrest and the side of the headrest should
sit just above the child's shoulders (25-26).
To adjust the height of the headrest firstly open the harness buckle by pressing the red button in
the centre of the buckle (27).
Locate the harness adjustment lever (M) which is located behind towards you and move the
headrest up or down to the appropriate height and release.
Try to move the headrest to check it is locked in position.
HARNESS TENSION ADUSTMENT
Loosen the harness: press on the harness adjustment button (L) positioned near the front of the car
seat, and pull on the two shoulder straps simultaneously (23).
Tighten the harness : pull firmly on the harness adjustment strap (O) at the front of the car seat; it
is not necessary to press on the adjustment button (29).
REMOVING THE PADDING (31-32-33)
Before removing the padding, carefully note how the various parts are attached so that you can
reattach them correctly afterwards.
First of all, remove the harness shoulder straps as follows:
Loosen the harness straps as much as possible by pressing the adjuster button (L) and pulling them
towards you.
Open the compartment on the back which houses the instruction manual. Using a screwdriver,
unscrew the two screws to remove the central plastic section.
Unhook the harness straps located behind the backrest by sliding the ends off the connector clip.
Lift the headrest by pressing the button (M).
Move the cylindrical bar located on the back to the left and right in order to be able to thread both
ends of the straps out and then free them. Now thread the straps out of the slots from the front.
To remove the groin strap (N), tilt the seat forward by pressing the appropriate button (P). Release
the metal bracket located under the seat and rotate it so that it can be fed through the hole in the
plastic frame and then through the hole in the fabric padding. Slide off the shoulder strap covers
and buckle padding, then release the buckle by pressing the appropriate button.
The padding is attached to the seat shell by means of elastic straps located on the upper part which
must be released. Now the padding can be completely detached from the shell.
