Igniting The Burner - STOK TOURIST STG1100 Manuel D'utilisation

WARNING:
If ignition does NOT occur within 5 seconds, turn the
control knob completely clockwise until it is off and wait
5 minutes. Repeat lighting procedures. If burner does
NOT ignite with the cylinder valve open, gas will continue
to flow out of the burner and could accidently ignite and
result in serious personal injury.

IGNITING THE BURNER

See Figures 15 - 16.
NOTE: Never lean over the grill while lighting burner.
The first time you use your newly purchased grill, it is recom-
mended the grill run on the highest setting for 15 – 20 minutes.
To ignite burner using the piezo ignitor:
Remove hood.
Be sure the control knob is turned completely clockwise
until it is off.
Make certain the LP gas cylinder is tightly connected to
the grill's burner valve and a leak test has been performed.
To light the burner, turn the control knob fully to the left.
Press the ignitor button until the burner lights. When
burner is lit, turn the control knob to the desired setting.
If burner fails to light within five (5) seconds, turn the
control knob completely clockwise until it is off and wait
five (5) minutes before repeating the steps.
NOTE: When the burner is fully open, the flame height
should be between 1-1/2 to 2 in. high. If the flame is too
low, you may need to replace the LP gas cylinder.
To ignite burner using match lighting:
Remove hood.
Be sure the control knob is turned completely clockwise
until it is off.
Remove firebox and grate insert.
Make sure the LP gas cylinder is tightly connected to the
grill's burner valve and a leak test has been performed.
Light a match or lighter and place it near the burner.
To light the burner, turn the control knob fully to the left.
When burner is lit, extinguish the match or lighter and
turn the control knob to the desired setting.
Using heat-resistant oven mitts to handle the firebox,
replace the firebox and grate insert onto the burner/base
assembly.

If burner fails to light, extinguish the match, turn the con-
trol knob completely clockwise until it is off, and wait five
(5) minutes before repeating the steps.
NOTE: When the burner is fully open, the flame height
