4.4.4 Replace the hose, SR 561/SR 562
• Fold the hood fabric up at the hose attachment. Fig. 14.
• Twist the hose and pull it out of the adapter. Fig 15.
• Fit the new hose into the head harness in the reverse order.
One hose connection is fitted with an O-ring. Fig. 3. This end
should be connected to the fan/compressed air unit. Fig. 4.
4.4.5 To change the head harness
Follow the relevant parts of the above instructions dealing with
changing the hood.

SR 562: Approx. 420 g, including hose.

• Hood: Tyvek 1443R, 200 μm
• Neck seal of SR 561: Cotton/modal/lycra
• Face seal of SR 562: Polyamide/lycra
• Breathing hose: Polyurethane (PU)
• Visor: 0.5 mm PETG
Temperature range
• Storage temperature: from -20 to +40 °C at a relative humidity
below 90 %.
• Service temperature: from -10 to +55 °C at a relative humidity
below 90 %.
• Service temperature when used together with fan SR 500 EX
is -10 to +40 °C.
Shelf life
The equipment has a shelf life of 5 years from the date of manu-
facture.

• SR 561 and SR 562 in combination with fan SR 500/SR 700 or
SR 500 EX are approved in accordance with EN 12941:1998,
class TH3.
• SR  561 and SR  562 in combination with fan SR  500 EX are
approved in accordance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and
the IECEx scheme.
• SR  561 and SR  562 in combination with compressed air at-
tachment SR 507 and air hose SR 358 or SR 359 are approved
in accordance with EN 14594:2005, class 3B.
• SR 561 and SR 562 in combination with compressed air attach-
ment SR 507 and air hose SR 360 are approved in accordance
with EN 14594:2005, class 3A.
The PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 type approval has been issued
