pressure.

• In order to prevent deformations on an inlay or onlay to be veneered, a relief cut should be made
up to the opaquer during the first dentin firing.
• The ceramic's firing temperature should not exceed 950 °C.
• Veneered electroformed crowns should no longer be sandblasted.

10. Cleaning the Anode

Please ensure that the anode basket, temperature sensor, reference electrode and heating system
are cleaned are each electroforming process. If this is not done, there is a risk of contamination in the
subsequent electroforming process.
Procedure:
• Carefully remove the anode after each electroforming process and clean it in a vessel for about
10 minutes with the anode cleaner in ultrasound bath provided. The anode is connected to the
device head using three small connectors. Slightly pulling downward will loosen the anode from
its socket. Immerse the anode in the anode cleaner, such that the mesh is completely covered.
• Please note: The anode cleaner can soil clothing etc. Please wear rubber gloves and safety
goggles.
• Wipe the glass heater with a damp cloth after each electroforming process.
• Also wipe the electrodes and magnets with a damp cloth after each electroforming process.
• Rinse out the glasses and measuring cylinders after each process.
• Regularly evaporate the cathode slots.
• Do not allow the gold-plated anode contacts to get in touch with the anode cleaner.
Please ensure that your work is very neat. This has a positive effect on plating.
