Installation:
Adjusting the length
1
Level the cable entry and set to the required length or
necessary formwork spacing using the scale.
Ensure that the 3 arrows on the protective foil are
pointing upwards on both connection sides.
•
The formwork spacing must be no smaller than
the wall thickness "X" specified for the wall
insert. The dimensions must be checked before
installation.
•
The mounting frames must not rotate against
each other.
Setting the length
2
Set the length of the cable entries by tightening the clam-
ping strap using the supplied chuck torque key with inte-
grated torque control limiter. Alternatively, the clamping
strap can be tightened to approx. 2.5 Nm/Width across
flats 7 using a torque spanner. The dimensions must be
checked before installation.
Torque control: After reaching the torque the
•
chuck torque key spins or breaks.
•
The torsion protection for the clamping strap is
provided by a locking pin.
Packaging with HSI-AH 40 spacer
Spacer
3
For the duct/conduit connection (OD ≥160 mm) we re-
commend working with the HSI-AH 40 spacer (acces-
sory) for packaging HSI 150-K2-Varia cable entries.
For planned cable conduit sections and pipes with an
outer diameter of ≥ 160 mm (connection via HSI 150-
M168 (WR), KES-M 150-D or HSI 150-D160GSM), this
achieves a greater level of compaction in the protective
duct/conduit trench and ensures that the minimum pro-
tective duct/conduit distance of ≥ 50 mm is clearly
maintained.
Connect the HSI 150 wall inserts to one another using the
4
HSI-AH 40 spacer. Insert a spacer into every contact surface
of the HSI 150 wall inserts.
