ALWAYS AVOID THE FOLLOWING ACTION:
-
Action:
Closure of compressor drain tap while running
Risk:
Explosion of compressor head
-
Action:
Closure of intake tap while running
Risk:
Damage to compressor
-
Action:
Adjusting screws and bolts on compressors and circuit under pressure
Risk:
Structural damage and leakage of fluids under pressure

-
Action:
Contact with parts marked with danger warnings
Risk:
Electrocution, burns, injuries
-
Action:
Adding utilities
Risk:
Insufficient refrigeration power output of unit
-
Action:
Recharge with unsuitable coolant
Risk:
Damage to compressor
-
Action:
Failure to clean the condenser
Risk:
Blocking of the condenser, fall in performance
THE SAFETY VALVES (CSPRS) ARE ONLY INSTALLED IN LIQUID CONTAINERS.
IN THE RELATIVE SECTION OF THE UNIT A PRESSURE SWITCH IS INSTALLED (SRMCR)
-
DO NOT START THE UNIT IF THIS PRESSURE SWITCH IS NOT SUITABLY CONNECTED TO THE
POWER CIRCUIT.
-
IF THE PRESSURE INCREASE IS DUE TO OUTSIDE FACTORS CHECK THE WORKING ORDER OF THE
SAFETY DEVICES.
Note: All these operations should be carried out by specialized technical personnel only.
8. Coolant
HPF units use two types of coolant, depending on the performance required and conditions of use:
Type: R404A, R507A
Consult the Technical Data manual for information about the amount of coolant in your unit.
To determine the amount of coolant contained in the system, add the quantities relative to the distribution network to
the utilities and condensers.
It is advisable to display the data relative to the quantity of coolant contained in the unit outside the engine room to
facilitate emergency operations (see paragraph Safety Equipment).
Danger:
The coolants used, though classified as "non toxic", may cause serious problems such as:
- Alteration of heartbeat - Asphyxia - Anesthetizing effects - Chilblains of the eyes and skin.
Caution:
DO NOT USE FLUIDS OTHER THAN THOSE SPECIFIED (E.G. AMMONIA) THAT COULD
DAMAGE THE UNIT.
Note: Refer to the safety recommendations in this manual and the technical sheets for the coolant.
