Changing the cap (see figures A1–A2)
– Turn the lock ring (3) anticlockwise to the stop and pull the cap ((1) or
(2)) up and off.
– Fit the required cap ((1) or (2)) in such a manner onto the spice con-
tainer (4) that the hexagon retainer of the cap fits on the drive bar (6) of
the grinding mechanism, and the cogs of the lock ring (3) engage in the
recesses of the spice container.
– Turn the lock ring (3) clockwise to the stop and check that the cap is
seated securely.
Filling the spice container (see figure B)
– Turn the lock ring (3) anticlockwise to the stop and pull the cap ((1) or
(2)) up and off.
– Fill the desired spice into the spice container (4). Do not fill the spice
container to the top.
– Fit the required cap ((1) or (2)) again.
