INTRODUCTION
The Alecto BC-60BT baby scales allow you to quickly and easily determine the weight and height of your
baby. In this way you can't just keep track of how fast your baby is growing, you can also determine how
much food your baby has consumed by weighing your baby before and after feeding time. You may use the
free app to save all measurements on an Android or iOS device. You may also input the head's circumfer-
ence measurement. You may then keep track of the growth curve and compare this with the WHO (World
Health Organization) growth curve from the birth up to 2 years old.
SAFE USE
• Never leave your baby unattended during measurements.
• The baby scales are not a toy. Never leave your baby alone with the scales; store the scales when they're
no longer needed.
• The baby scales are a precision instrument. Never drop the scales and prevent them from becoming wet.
INSTALLATION
Power supply:
The BC-60BT is powered by batteries:
1. Put a towel (to prevent any damage) on a table and then put the scales on the towel upside down.
2. Open the battery compartment and insert 4 batteries, 1.5V, size AAA, Micro or LR03, according to the
markings inside the battery compartment. Please keep in mind the correct polarity (+ and -).
3. Close the battery compartment and turn the scales to put them down in the normal way.
The scales are now ready for use.
Always install fully charged batteries of the same brand and type, preferably alkaline batteries. Rechargeable
batteries provide a lower voltage and are therefore not applicable.
Positioning:
• Carefully place the scales on a sturdy, stable, flat and dry surface.
• For a reliable measurement, the scales must be put down horizontally.
• Ensure that all 4 feet of the scales make contact with the surface onto which you've placed the scales (the
scales may not wobble).
• To prevent falling off, never place the scales too close to the edge of the table or cabinet.
