1 turning assistant with 2 castors, completely mounted
The frame of the turning assistant is made of aluminium, the castors are supported by ball
bearings. The turning assistant can carry a load of max. 200 kg, it is suitable for a total
weight of up to 400 kg. The turning assistant is used to turn the rear wheel by hand on
motorcycles without center stand, e.g. to clean and lubricate the drive chain, check drive
chain slack, clean the rim or examine the tire for damage.
Please consider the following operating instructions for a safe handling of
the device and a keeping it in a good condition.
Check before use if the castors are fi rmly mounted. The rear castor can be put to the frame
in three positions. The one in the middle is the best for normal motorcycle tiring. For very
small wheels the we recommend the shortest distance between the castors. Always jack
the vehicle up together with another person. Use the turning assistant only on a horizontal
plane and solid underground. Push the vehicle with spent motor over the inclined part on
the turning assistant. Make sure the turning assistant is parallel to the vehicle´s longitudi-
nal axis and the wheel that has to be turned is in the middle of the castors. Let a helping
person put the distance piece under the side stand – to avoid a too inclined position of
the vehicle. Put the vehicle on the side stand. Make sure the vehicle is positioned fi rmly.
If the model has a very short side stand, it can be necessary to put an appropriate mat
underneath. Now the vehicle is jacked up. Lock the hand brake by putting a safety starp
or a cable tie around the handlebar and brake lever and tighten with feeling. Like this the
motorcycle is secured against rolling away. Never turn on the motor whilst the vehicle is
jacked up. A second person has always to be securing the vehicle. Turn the wheel slowly by
hand. And pay attention that the tire does not slip away from the castors or the side stand

from the distance piece. Keep the turning assistant's castors clean from oil and grease
to not get on the tire unintentionally. It is not necessary to lubricate the bearings – the
bearings are maintenance-free. This product is for universal use without specifi c detailed
vehicle allocation, it is important to convince yourself before fi rst use if you can use it
approprately and without problems on your motorcycle. Have a look at the informations
of your vehicle operating instructions and the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer. This
is necessary because inappropriate use of this product can affect the driving security and/
or the quality of the vehicle.
