Installing the Unit

Make sure the direction of
the trim plate. The shape of
the hooks on the top side is
as illustrated.

Installing without using the mounting sleeve
(Japanese car)

Remove the mounting sleeve C
and trim plate B from the unit.

Align the holes in the unit (on both
sides) with the vehicle mounting
bracket and secure the unit with
the supplied screws.
Connect the wiring harness to
the unit. Other wiring connection
C
have been completed earlier.

Bend the appropriate
tabs to hold the
B mounting sleeve firmly
in place.

Removing the Unit

Detach the faceplate A.

Engage the catch pin on the
extraction key E into the holes on
both sides of the trim plate B, then
pull it out.

Insert the extraction key E deeply
into the slots on each side, then
follow the arrows instructions as
shown on the right.

Installing the Microphone Unit

Check the installation position of
the microphone H.

Remove oil and other dirt from the
installation surface.

Install the microphone.

Wire the microphone cable up to
the unit with it secured at several
positions using tape or other
desired method.
Peel the release coated paper of double-face
adhesive tape to fix on the place shown above.

Fix a cable with a commercial item of tape.
Adjust the direction of the microphone to the driver.
