from using it. Children
must not play with the
device. Cleaning and user
maintenance must not be
performed by children
without supervision.
This device must not be
used if the operator is tired,
ill or under the influence of
alcohol or other drugs or
medicines.
Do not leave the device
unatten ded while it is in
operation.
Protect the device against
long exposure to the sun
and frost.
In order to prevent damage
and hazards resulting from
improper use , you must
observe the user manual
and store it in a safe place!
Wear suitable work cloth-
ing such as sturdy shoes,
safety goggles, long
trousers and, if necessary,
gloves during work. Do not
work barefoot or in light
sandals.
If the device is passed on to
other persons, they must
also be given the user man-
ual!
Only use GLORIA original
spares and accessories for
the device.
Never use worn, modified
or defective replacement
parts / accessories!
2.2 Safety instructions for
connecting the device
WARNING!
Danger of electric shock
Contact with energised
cables/wires or components
may result in serious injury or
death! You should therefore
observe the following safety
instructions:
If the power cable is dam-
aged, it must only be
replaced by a repair shop
designated by the manu-
facturer or a suitably quali-
fied person in order to pre-
vent a hazard ! Please con-
tact the manufacturer or
the customer service
department.
Ensure that the supply volt-
age corresponds with the
voltage (V) of the device !
Only connect the device to
an AC grounded power
outlet.
When using an extension
lead, only use a grounded
cable for outdoor use with a
conductor cross-section of
at least 1.5 mm
length of 20-50 meters, use
a cross-section of at least 3 x
2.5 mm

. The power cable
must be checked regularly
for signs of damage and
wear.
The device should be operat-
ed using a residual-current-
operated protective device
(RCD) with a release current
of no more than 30 mA. Ask
your elec trical installer!
