elecTrical Scheme

Installation: The GM-TA thermostat is intended for
installation within a distribution panel installed inside
the building. The thermostat is to be powered from a
230 Vac electrical supply in accordance with local electrical
regulations. The heating cable and earthing connections
need to be made in accordance with the circuit diagrams
(shown below).
Where the supply current to the contact (K1) exceeds 10A,
a power cable with 2.5 mm

The GM-TA-AS Sensor must be installed outside
t h e b u i l d i n g a n d s e c u re ly fa ste n e d to t h e w a l l
( p re fe r a b ly n o r t h fa c i n g ) . T h e s e n s o r m u s t b e
c o n n e c t e d t o a s e n s o r c a b l e ( S t a n d a rd N Y M
3 x 1,5 mm², max. 100 m), which will be installed in the
building and connected to the GM-TA thermostat.
Outdoor installation of the thermostat is possible
by using the Raychem GM-TA OUTDOOR-Box with IP 65
(PCN: 1244017966) rating.
