Witter MR32AU Instructions De Montage

MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
D 4 M10 x 40 Bolts, Lock Washers and Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
E 1 Left Hand Side Arm
F 1 Right Hand Side Arm
G 2 M10 x 75 Bolts, Nyloc Nuts, Flat Washers (20mm O.D.) and Flat Washers (25mm O.D.)
H 4 M12 x 40 Bolts, Nuts, Lock Washers and 8 Flat Washers (30mm O.D.)
J 4 M10 x 35 Bolts, Nyloc Nuts and 8 Flat Washers (20mm O.D.)
K 2 M12 x 100 High Tensile Bolts and Nyloc Nuts - (Grade 10.9. - Torque setting 139Nm)
EP 1 Electrical Plate (SEP-M)
For use with either
MR32A Flange neck option – ZF3008. Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
MR32AQ Detachable neck option – ZQ3008. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation
FITTING
1. Remove interior panels from inside boot. Remove bumper (1 plastic clip on lower edge of wheel arch liner each side, 1
tip screw each side, 1 self tapping bolt on upper edge of bumper inside boot on rear quarter panels, 1 nut each side on
rear panel.)
2. Lower rear exhaust silencer and temporarily remove heat shield. Remove bumper beam and retain for fitment if the
towbar is removed. Remove grommets from mounting points (D), insert Side Arms (E) and (F) into chassis rails and
loosely attach using Bolts (D).
3. Loosely attach Cross Bar (A) to rear panel using Bolts (G) and (H) also attach to Side Arms (E) and (F) using Bolts (J).
Tighten all bolts.
4. Refit heat shield, re-mount exhaust and refit bumper. Attach neck option to Cross Bar (A) using separate fitting
instruction along with Electrical Plate (EP). Tighten bolts.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 139Nm, M10 – 78Nm
