Here, you can protect the camera menu from unauthorised access by a 4-digit password
made up of figures and letters.
• "Serial NO"
If you have activated this function and entered a 4-digit serial number of figures and letters, it
is displayed at the lower right in each image.
• "Default"
Here, you can reset the camera to factory settings.
• "Version" (possible only directly via the camera menu)
This menu item shows the firmware version of the camera.
c) Configuration via the camera menu
To configure the camera via the menu using the remote control, proceed as follows:
• Set your language first. For this, navigate to the menu item "Select Language" and push the
button "OK". Select your language (arrows up and down) and save it with "OK".
• Then navigate to the menu item "Camera Setup" and confirm with the button "OK".
• Change the settings according to your wishes. The explanation of what which menu item does
and which setting options you have can be taken from the preceding item b) of this chapter.
Most configuration items are set simply with the two arrows to the left and right on the remote
control. We have summarised the items where you need to proceed differently below.
• Proceed as follows for the items "Interval", "Timer", "Time Lapse", "Password" and "Serial
NO":
First switch on the respective function with the left or right arrow. The display then needs to be
"ON".
Then push "OK" to get to the extended configuration.
