- Page 2 INSTALLATION PENTAIR SWEEP: Read this manual cover to cover before you start. Think it through. The Pentair Sweep comes packaged in three separate boxes. One box contains your Sweep head assembly. Another box contains three sections of feeder hose, sweep hoses, leaf basket, float arm assembly, wall fittings or deck stand, mender nuts, extra float hose and inline filter fittings. The third box contains your booster pump assembly which will be installed by a licensed electrician.
- Page 3 The water supply from the booster pump into the pool go through the Wall Fitting. Wall Fitting should be located near the center of the pool as shown. 3A Pre-plumbed pool with Wall Fitting. Once the booster pump is installed, flush the water line from the booster pump to the pool.
- Page 4 Feeder Hose Water under pressure from Wall Fitting to Sweep Head are carried through feeder hose (LD03C), one has 1 float only and the other has 4 floats. These floats are positioned as shown in drawing on following page. You need not adjust them. The extra float is optional for larger pools. There is one section of einforced white vinyl hose (LD03A) with Hose Weight (LD27) and fittings.
- Page 5 Feeder Hose (cont.) D. Position feeder hose. Turn filter pump on, fill hose with water. When filled, walk free end of feeder hose to the furthest opposite diagonal corner. E. First, pull feeder hose towards you so that weight on the six foot section of white vinyl hose moves away from the wall with the feeder hose floating in the normal position.

- Page 8 Installing Pentair Sweep Head Installl Pentiar Sweep head by threading float arm (LXF22, see parts list on page XXX) into Sweep Hose Pentair Sweep head. Threads on end of float arms are self tapping. Hand tighten. Adjustment Screws (LG15A) It is very important to get a vertical alignment. Connect two sweep hoses to proper connectors on head.

Maintenance For tangling or coiling of feeder hoses: Stretch 16 feet feeder hose (LD03C) lines on deck tight, placing heavy objects on ends to hold in place. Leave out in sun for 1 to 2 days.
