The factory setup function allows the resetting of all data that were stored in the Control Unit including
the PIN which, in the event that it was changed, returns to the default value of 0000. After completing
the factory setup, the Control Unit checks the factory data and the data that were previously memorized
in the modules. The factory data are different from those memorized by the user in the single module;
therefore, the Control Unit asks the user to select one of the following two options:
• Update modules: the option allows one to write the Control Unit data onto the module and, therefore,
the system will return to the default conditions.
• Install modules: the option allows one to write the module data onto the Control unit; therefore, the
system will return to the programming memorized before performing the factory setup.
