8 Cutting Pylon to Length

Remove socket, place fitting clamp in the vice
and cut blade to length. Fit shoulder screws to
prevent damage to components

Deburr end of pylon.

Loctite (243) & tighten (25 Nm) top housing bolts.
Attach and align socket.

Drill two 8.1mm diameter holes through drill
bushes.

Slide pyramid into top housing (or fit preferred
alignment option).

If a foam cosmesis is to be fitted, roughen the
top surface of the foot shell to provide a bonding
surface. Bond foam cosmesis to upper surface of
the foot shell using Thixofix adhesive (926204) or
equivalent and shape to suit.
