cessful, as the effect of the toxins has not yet been able to unfold
in the skin. Treatment with the insect bite healer should nonetheless
be repeated. Mostly the itching can be reduced and the healing
accelerated.
Place the insect sting healer with the heating plate on the sting to
be treated. Now press the button and hold it down throughout the
entire application. The translucent blue indicator light of the control
button indicates that the heating plate is warming up.
The heating plate takes approx. 25 seconds to reach its maximum
temperature of approx. 50 °C. Only keep the device on the puncture
wound for as long as it still seems agreeable to you, but never longer
than 30 seconds.
The temperature of the heating plate is limited by the electronics
of the insect sting healer. The temperature that is reached and also
temperature awareness depends on skin type, moisture content, fat
content, skin temperature, ambient temperature, etc. Make sure
that you stop the application and release the control button as soon
as it becomes unpleasant and actually before any pain occurs, as
well as before the maximum application time is reached. Otherwise
severe burns can occur. The device does NOT have any automatic
switch-off function.
As soon as you release the button, the device automatically switches
off and the heating plate slowly cools down. If you use it again
before the heating plate has entirely cooled down, the maximum
application time reduces accordingly. Ideally, before any new
application, you should allow the insect sting healer to cool down
for 30 seconds.
Wait at least 60 seconds before putting away the device again. The
device should be stored in such a way as to prevent any inadvertent
release of the button.
