Slowly pressurize the complete system.
To do this use safety start-up valve type

This will prevent uncontrolled movements
from occurring.

Unauthorized product modification is not
permitted.

Fitting
Fitting mechanical components

Handle the HMPL-... with care so that the
guide rod is not damaged.
This would reduce operational reliability
and the service life.
S
Make sure that the HMPL-... is fitted free
of mechanical stress.
S
Place the linear module so that you can
easily reach the operating parts.

Select one of the following fastening
methods:
a) fitting onto a base surface
(preferred method)
b) fitting onto the side (use bracing
plate 2 as per "Accessories").
Please note
If fitted at the side, as shown in Fig. 12b, the fastening screws will damage the
guide rods of the HMPL-... if they are screwed in too far.
S Observe the maximum permitted depths for the fastening screws in the
fastening holes of the HMPL-12/16-... .
If fitted on the base surface as shown in Fig. 12a, the depth of the blind holes
will limit the thread length of the fastening screws.
